Dome Exhibition’s Conference Team is led by Dr. Nick Coles. Nick’s years of international experience in the field of specialised conferences and scientific research has helped us developing an efficient and highly professional level of SOGAT event performance. From the theme structure of the event - recognized by industry experts, to specialized social network atmosphere that each of Dome’s conferences create, SOGAT provides an advantage that no competitor can follow.
Dr. Nick Coles has been organizing and managing international conferences, exhibitions, seminars, workshops and training courses since 1972. He initially graduated with a First Class Honours Degree and thereafter obtained a Masters Degree and a PhD before becoming the Engelhard Research Fellow. After a successful academic period and further management responsibilities for the then British Steel Corporation and BP, developing an international series of events for BHRA, he was invited to join IBC (now part of Informa Group) who at that time were a subsidiary of a public company. As a main board director, he and his co-directors were involved an MBO in 1983 and a reverse takeover of a UK Stock Exchange listed company in 1986.

During the last few years he has acted as a consultant for IIR (recently acquired by Informa), Environmental Matters, GeoMedia Group, the Adam Smith Institute, the CWC Group etc and currently acts as Director – Conferences & Exhibitions for Dome Exhibitions based in Abu Dhabi in the Middle East where he has been responsible for initiating several new events including SOGAT series supported by ADNOC and leading IOC’s and NOC’s. SOGAT has now in a short time established itself as the meeting place in the Middle East that focuses on the Gas Conditioning issues that need to be developed in order to sweeten the gas for industrial development and infrastructure usage. Several overseas contributers have likened SOGAT to such well established events as the Laurence Reid meeting for example.
